Arrival

I arrived in Berlin just after 1500 on Tuesday. Unfortunately my suitcase was delayed in Denmark, so I had to wait two nights before it arrived at the house. Nancy and the kids were waiting for me with a sign that said "Lauren welcome to Germany". On the way to the house, we drove through downtown Berlin so I could see the
Christmas lights. We also stopped at a famous "restaurant" for some currywurst and french fries. I am still getting used to the food... :)
The house is beautiful! All the houses in this tiny town are huge and very old, although they have been renovated. I have my own room and bathroom, although the girls use the sink to brush their teeth. Jet lag is still proving to be an inconvenience.
