This morning Nancy and I headed to our appointment with the personal trainer. We spent an hour doing stepping exercises, working with weights for our arms and abs, and stretching. It was a great workout! The trainer spoke some English so she would either explain the next workout or demonstrate it for me so I could follow. I was very thankful I am observant and a quick learner.
After showers and getting ready for the day, Nancy went to the office to get some work done and I ironed some clothes while listening to Disney songs and eating chocolate.
The girls arrived home and we ate some homemade soup and bread then headed out for more music lessons. While the girls were in their lessons, Nancy and I looked at the Bibliothek (aka, the library). Nancy didn’t know this library was there, but it was really nice and had several authors and book series I recognized from the states, only in their German counterparts. They had an English selection, so I was able to check out an English book.
Today was so amazing with the girls! We interacted beautifully! We read together, got dinner ready together, ate next to each other, and later one of them came to tell me that when I’m a little better at German, she can give me short and easy German stories to read. She was such a sweetie tonight!
