One of my best friends birthday was today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I worked on updating journals and my blog then worked through some verbs and how they change as you conjugate them. There looks like an insurmountable amount of verbs to learn, but I have to start somewhere. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it.
After the girls got home, we were able to skype Stacey and just have fun talking. Right before she had to leave we said “love you”, but I tacked on “more” then hit the end button. She typed “I heard you.” The girls thought that was so funny!
The sun was shining so I convinced the girls to go on a walk with me. We talked and had fun and when they asked how far we were going to go, I said "to that tree.” There were trees everywhere! I had such a good laugh when the girls just looked at me and asked “which one?” Helena showed me a bench on the edge of a field and was nestled in a few trees. About that time Lissy went poop. The girls and I tried several tries to get a good picture. After that, I looked down to find Lissy had pooped on my shoe! The girls laughed so hard. When we got back to the house, we were cold and the girls wanted to play Solitaire. As I was collecting my study materials, I stepped in a wet spot on the rug in my socks and then remembered Lissy had peed on the carpet. Oh the joys of having dogs. :) So I did a load of my laundry.
For dinner, we made spaghetti. The onions were extremely potent and had all of us either crying or experiencing stinging eyes. After dinner clean up, we played Rummy in the dining room while listening to Disney songs and eating Reeses peanut butter cups. Helena loves the cleaning song from Enchanted!
