I was encouraged at church because I could actually understand some of the sermon! I was able to share with the missionaries about Titus and then mention it to the others during prayer request time. There were a couple of new people at church that I hadn’t seen before, so that was also fun. I was able to stay afterward and talk over tea.
When I arrived home, the family was eating breakfast/lunch. They told me they woke up to the dogs barking and found Artus, Arielle, and Merlin fighting. Merlin was bloody and they didn’t know if she was going to make it!
We watched Ice Age 3, then I braided Gloria’s hair and then we headed out to Mark's dad's house for his step-mom's Birthday Tea. Mark's step-dad wanted me to sit next to him so he could speak German with me. I made a valiant attempt at speaking it back, but failed miserably! Thankfully, I can understand some things. We had an apple strudel thing, cherry cake, bread, and cookies. Mark's step-dad and I “shared” a large piece of the cherry cake, but he made me eat most of it. J I helped Gloria play a card game I didn’t quite understand.
We stopped at Burger King on the way home and Mark quizzed me on music artists. I actually got them right!
When we got home, Mark, Nancy and I ate dinner and tried to figure out a weird movie in TV. I went up to call dad. I got a hold of them as they were in the car driving home. I got to talk to Janna and Dad while mom and Wendy fell asleep. Janna told me about the weekend. Praise the Lord many people heard the Gospel!
