The girls woke up before me this morning. We ate breakfast and then headed out to go grocery shopping. We ended up having to go to three different stores before we found everything on our list, but we had fun while we did it! It was fun to create a meal plan together and get all the groceries needed.
After we got home and put the groceries away, the girls spent a good half hour practicing piano and trumpet. I went back and forth between them helping as much as I could. I had a headache so I laid down until Mark's dad and step-mom arrived. After they left, I got to skype with the family and see Bobby and Kaleb. Dad did a polar plunge this morning with the police department so I got to see pictures. I was also able to get in some pictures with them, even if my face was just on the computer screen. I got to talk to Kody for a few minutes alone, finally! We talked in German with Gloria for a while and then discussed the political situation in Madison.
For dinner, I made tacos which turned out pretty good, but the girls were distracted by the show “I Carly”. The episode on the TV upstairs was a new one, but wasn’t showing on the TV in the kitchen, so they ate fast and then left.
We ate ice cream and watched the Tooth Fairy. Gloria fell asleep so the girls ended up sleeping on the couch again. J
